How to Use the New Beginnings Small Group Bible Study

Home Bible Study: Six-month curriculum

Meeting once a week, all 26 programs can be completed in six months. This is a great option for existing small groups that want to review our fundamental beliefs in an easy-to-use format. Use the entire meeting outline for a one and a half to two hour meeting.

Pastor's Bible Study Class: Two 13-week quarters

The programs can be broken into two quarters of 13 programs each. Consider this for a Sabbath School class or Pastor’s Bible Study class. Start each meeting with the DVD, and use selected discussion questions for a 50 - 60 minute meeting.

Outreach-Oriented Small Group: 30-week curriculum

There is a recommended four-week outreach preparation sequence after the first program, which prepares the members to use the small group specifically for reaching out to friends, co-workers and neighbors. Programs 12 and 18 also have alternate meeting outlines recommended for use with an evangelistic small group. Use the entire meeting outline for a one and a half to two hour meeting.

Doctrinal Intensive Group: Four- to Seven-week curriculum

New Beginnings was originally designed for public evangelism, and the Small Group Bible Study could be used as the basis for a daily meeting. Meeting four, five or six times per week, the series could be completed in four to seven weeks. For public evangelistic meetings with 20 people or more, consider using the original New Beginnings DVD Evangelism package.
